Carl Johanson & Son stamps concrete in over 50 different styles, which means a patio, walkway or driveway doesn't have to end up looking like every other slab on the block. The pattern and color are chosen before the pour, alongside the layout of the job itself, so stamping is planned in from the start rather than bolted on afterward.
This is the same crew that pours the foundation work and flatwork described elsewhere on this site, not a separate decorative subcontractor brought in for the finish. The people forming the slab are the same people finishing it.

Getting an even pattern across a whole slab takes a crew that moves together, mat to mat, rather than one person working alone against the clock.
It's straightforward, unhurried work to watch and exacting work to do well: every mat has to seat fully and line up with the one before it, or the pattern reads as broken once the forms come off.

Where stamping suits a property
Patios are the most natural fit for stamping, since they're the piece of concrete a family actually spends time standing and sitting on, and a pattern underfoot changes how the whole space reads. Walkways and driveways take stamping just as well, and often get it to tie the new concrete into a home's existing brick, stone or landscaping.
